The Texas Panhandle is a region of Texas consisting of the northernmost twenty-sis counties in the state. The panhandle is a rectangular area bordered by New Mexico to the west and Oklahoma to the north and east. The Hand Book of Texas defines the southern border of Swisher County as the southern boundary of the Texas Panhandle region, though some consider the region to extend as far south as Lubbock County. The Texas Panhandle Press Association accepts members in the actual panhandle and a triangle formed by its southern tier, the southeastern border of New Mexico and a diagonal to the beginning, which includes Lubbock County. The area offers plenty of wide open spaces with very affordable lifestyles along with a mild climate that is indicting to growth.

Amarillo
Amarillo is the 14th largest city in Texas and the largest city in the Texas Panhandle, and the of Potter County. A portion of the city extends into Randall County. The estimated population was 199,582 as of 2016. The area has an estimated population of 276,020 in four counties as of 2017.

lubbock
Lubbock is a city in and the county seat of Lubbock County. The city is located in the northwestern part of the state, a region known historically, geographically and ecologically part of the southern end of the High Plains. According to a 2015 Census estimate, Lubbock had a population of 249,042 making it the 83rd largest city in the United States of America and the 11th largest city in the state of Texas. The city is the economic center of the Lubbock metro area which has a projected 2020 population of 327,424.
Lubbock's nickname, "Hub City", derives from it being the economic, educational, and health care hub of the multicounty region, north of Lubbock was selected as the 12th-best place to start a small business by CNN. WichIta falls
Wichita Falls is a city is the principal city of the Wichita Falls Metro area, which encompasses all of Archer, Clay and Wichita Counties. According to the census, it had a population of 104,553, making it the 29th largest city in Texas. In addition, its central business district is five miles (8 km) from Sheppard Airforce Base which is home to the Air Force's largest technical training wing and the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program, the world's only multi-nationally manned and managed flying training program chartered to produce combat pilots for both USAF and NATO.
